Background
Our client needs to optimize the operational process at the DC (distribution center) warehouse for the FMCG segment. This included transferring all operations from manual data entry and processing to a modern, highly integrated warehouse management system (WMS), which allows data to be updated continuously and accurately.
Coyote had to ensure that the new operational process was established and implemented to achieve information management automation, from warehousing, inventory management, to order processing and distribution, to minimize errors and increase order processing speed.
The challenge was to optimize storage space, improve the ability to forecast demand for goods, and enhance the ability to access product information in real time. In addition, the client also wanted to reduce downtime during the goods processing, especially during peak seasons when demand spikes.

In order to manage inventory more effectively, we have established a batch/lot inventory control process. This method helps businesses accurately track each batch of goods by time, expiry date and other information, including the source of goods.
This not only supports quick traceability of goods but also ensures product rotation according to the FIFO, FEFO, LIFO,… principles to minimize long-term inventory and the risk of product damage.
Integrate business’s information management system with WMS
Coyote integrates business’s information management system with an advanced warehouse management system (WMS), automating and connecting all data from receiving goods, inventory management, to order processing and shipping.
This integration will bring information synchronization, allowing business to track goods status and operating performance in real time. This not only helps reduce errors but also increases the ability to forecast and plan goods more accurately, optimizing the entire supply chain.
RF Operation Integrated with WMS
When integrating RF with WMS, data is transmitted directly from mobile devices to the warehouse management system in real time. All information about product status, inventory quantity, storage location, and shipments are continuously updated and tracked. This not only helps optimize warehouse management but also improves traceability, especially in industries such as FMCG, where batch/lot control is an important factor.
